Semyx, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of water jet cutting machines, has had an exciting year creating new advancements in the Waterjet cutting industry. With the additions of several machine sizes in the COBRA series, the material lifting arm for the OPTIMA series, and the introduction of the new GENESIS series, Semyx has been hard at work creating custom machines to meet the needs of all of their clients.

The COBRA Series cutting machines were designed as pit installations due to their massive size and material handling capabilities. However, additions to the COBRA series include the COBRA 240 & 5100H, each of which offer raised tables which sit on custom designed water tanks. This feature creates a portable solution with the same outstanding results as all of the other large-format cutting machines in the COBRA Series.

The OPTIMA water jet cutting series provides a vigorous industrial design and rigid construction that combines precision and simplicity. The OPTIMA L water jet cutter is the latest addition to the OPTIMA Series and offers a unique lifting arm attachment for loading and unloading of heavy or delicate sheet materials like granite and glass.

Along with these new options, Semyx is proud to announce the addition of an entirely new product line, the GENESIS series of waterjet cutting machines. This series offers a unique monoblock design that provides the ideal system for smaller projects and a great introduction for first time waterjet users looking to become familiar with this cutting technology. The rigid mechanical design allows for high end performance using high quality components often found in other manufacturers' elite systems. The GENESIS series offers two small-format sizes (1.2m2 and 1.6m2) that have been designed to be footprint-friendly and maintain the ability to fit in the most challenging spaces.
